Devon Car Free Day - 22nd September 2009

As part of the Devon Car Free Day the children at school joined in trying to think of different ways to travel to school. Some skated to school, one child and his mum cycled all the way from Puddington; some children car shared and many children walked, hopped or came on their scooter to school. The car park was nearly empty on the day, so well done! Here are some of the photos.

Skipping 2009

On 1st April 2009 the children took part in a ‘Jump off’ to raise money for The British Heart Foundation.  Each class skipped for 2 minutes and then the next class would take over after a count down from 10. This meant we kept skipping for an hour swapping over classes after 2 minutes. The children did very well and kept going, well done.

To keep the enthusiasm of skipping alive within the children had a demonstration by a skipping workshop team.
