Week 11 activities 01/06/20
BBC’s Tiny Happy People website can help you develop your child’s language and communication skills, so they get the best start in life.
It will show you why and how you can bond with your child, before they’re born and throughout their early lives – it’s never too early to start. Their ideas and activities are easy to build into your daily routine. They’re quick and inspiring, but they’re also based on expert advice and evidence, and are proven to help your child’s development.
Hungry Little Minds – simple, fun activities for kids, from new-born to five!
The Department for Education launched the Hungry Little Minds campaign last year Week-Nine-PDF-HD.pdfto encourage parents to engage in activities that support their child’s early learning and help set them up for school and beyond.
Many little things light up hungry little minds. Kids take everything in, and even the smallest things you do with them can make a big difference. They love it when you chat, play and read with them, even when they’re too young to understand everything. Whatever the time and wherever you are, you can turn almost anything into a game.
And every little thing you do together will help set them up nicely for the day they start school.
